for the love of fucking god just a reminder that purging isn’t only vomiting. it also includes things like fasting to compensate, over-exercising, laxatives, enemeas diet pills, etc. it’s about compensatory behaviors, not just one specific method. yall are valid either way ily

#edrtwt is it normal to hoard food but like snacks or treats? I just realised now I have this thing of buying snacks and storing them away in a box and I never allow myself to eat them. I even have a box dedicated for treats, this is something new to me. Does anyone else do this?

@grittergutter I'm bulimic and I used to binge everything in the house so there's none left for tomorrow so I can start afresh but I've found that stashing everything away makes it easier to restrict cause I always say I'll have it when I reach my goal

@yeojinscals woah that's a lot, you have so much self control. I think once you start hoarding food it gets hard to start eating it so you just keep buying stuff and not eating it. But it makes me feel in control so idc

@michellestarves yes omg I have sooooo many snacks in my room and I just hoard them there forever and it’s kind of a huge burden cause I wanna eat them so bad and they’re just sitting there 😞
