During my visit to The Hague, I met with the Dutch Minister of Defence, @rubenbrekelmans. The Netherlands are a strategically important ally, and we will continue strengthening cooperation between our countries. Almost 300 Dutch soldiers are currently serving in Lithuania as a part of NATO’s Enchanced Forward Presence. We are providing all the necessary host nation support for this mission. Among other topics discussed were the continued deployment of the "Patriot" air defense system and the importance that was present in our country last year as well as the need of a regional decision regarding the Ottawa Convention. Today, we can’t afford any distractions - active cooperation and joint actions of allies are essential to ensuring a safe future. #StrongerTogether

The Baltic 🇪🇪🇱🇻🇱🇹 states'  border is  the border of NATO and the EU 🇪🇺. The strengthening of the Baltic Defence line and its protection is the joint task of NATO and EU allies.  Our strength lies in our unity and cooperation. We need to continue to: ✅️ support Ukraine 🇺🇦,  ✅️ increase defence expenditure, ✅️ strengthen our military capabilities, ✅️ develop our defence industry. No surprise. NATO published a list of 12 defence critical raw materials essential for the Allied defence industry. These materials are integral to the manufacture of advanced defence systems. Western armies cannot survive for long without a secure supply of raw materials.
