@Argos_Online hi
Part assembled order is missing vital parts and you customer service number and chat bots can’t help, I need to speak to an actual person
@FootballCliches Just a normal right back, nothing flashy can occasionally put a cross in from deep, pops up with a swinger into the top corner once every second season. very much part of a back four rather than an attacking option.
Essentially Brian Laws at Forest 89 to 92

🚨 Liverpool are plotting an offer worth more than €30M for England u21 international Charlie Cresswell, after previous bids of €25M were rejected in January. 👀
The Toulouse centre-back remains a key target as Liverpool prepare a for life after Virgil Van Dijk, who turns 35 in July. 💰

@MrUrban83@danscapephoto The fact that happened a full week before it was confirmed what Comp Forest would be playing in and a win on the final day would have seen them qualify for CL, so no it doesn’t does it #nffc
@danscapephoto If told you Lyon got 6th place because an on loan Forest player (Omobamidele)gave away a last minute penalty for Strausborg against Lyon ...would that change thsi situation at all...
You know, the biggest reason why I don't understand Palace fans blaming #NFFC/Marinakis for this Europa League situation?
Marinakis is a multi-club owner who would inevitably benefit in the long run from #CPFC & Lyon being allowed to compete in the same compeition.
It would be far better for him if UEFA didn't have strict rules and regulations about it. At some point, Forest & Olympiacos will be in the same European competition. If Palace are 'let off' the rules then Mr Marinakis will be able to use that precedent in the future.
Palace fans, your only blame should be towards the people running your club. The rules and the dates are clearly set out. The rest of the board should have clarified the rules if in doubt and instructed Textor accordingly. If Textor refused, then they should be able to sue him for that. They acted too late out of convenience instead of governance.
The argument that you might not have got into Europe is irrelevant. You are a Premier League club in two cup competitions that qualify for Europe. The only way I'd accept that argument is from a Championship club.
It's a failure of governance not to have someone advising the board on all scenarios and the risks involved. Assuming they did that, then they simply risked it for a biscuit, which is bad governance as well.
For what it's worth, I felt exactly the same about our PSR situation. It might not be 'fair' or common sense, but it's clearly written down, and if you ignore it or don't clarify it, it's your own fault.
Rules are made with the aim of being 'fair' but at some point you have to prioritise the ability to actually implement & enforce the rule over how fair it is. The only way to do that is paperwork & deadlines.
Don't let the billionaires pretend they don't have resources to be on top of all these things and have advisors so they know when they are breaching rules and taking risks. As fans, we shouldn't have to care about this stuff. That's not UEFA's doing, though. They are trying to hold up the bare minimum they can to prevent multi-club ownership from undermining the competitive side of football without any checks and balances.
I'm bored with the instant narrative to blame the authorities in these situations. Forest fans do it about the Premier League even though we are literally a member of it with a voting right.
In the long run, undermining any kind of authority or rule is a great narrative for owners who want to do whatever they please and treat the clubs like a hobby and not something to be properly managed. Maybe rules are boring, maybe you want owners who just do what they want. I can't predict the future of how that would play out if every club is part of a group of clubs. Maybe that helps spread money around the game, maybe it never causes any undermining of competitions. For now, it seems more likely to divide the different levels of football, and I have no sympathy for the billionaires not quite getting everything they want.
So:
Blame Palace's owners for not doing the correct paperwork.
Blame multi-club ownership for this kind of situation even being discussed.
Don't blame UEFA for trying to do the bare minimum.
Don't blame Forest on this particular occasion.
This is what happens when you allow clubs like #nffc to behave like they did last season. No repercussions = more and more disputes and and some point legal action bbc.co.uk/sport/football…
@virginmedia Honestly this has been about as helpful as the appalling service you get when you call that number, congrats on being no more use than a pointless ‘press 1 for and hour of mind numbing hold music’ John
@mickeygrizzle Sorry for the confusion, Michael. Can you send us a screenshot of what it says when you're running the additional checks? It's possible that either the old fault was fixed but some people in the area still having issues, or a new ticket opened. ^John
@virginmedia Which considering the first check is done by postcode is kinda weird, but I’m making sure that you don’t think you’ve fixed the issue when clearly you haven’t
@virginmedia On the service checker the message says there are no issues in my area (sw17) but when you run further checks I get a message saying that there are issues in my post code
