@mylodubsfan We can sometimes cloud high standard with entertainment, it was entertaining in the main compared to what we had . It was very wet in there but still some of decision making was crazy wet or dry day. Tyrone full value for the win with much more know how when it mattered
While progressive countries are banning and reducing use of disposable vapes - we allow a second candy sweet/vape shop open in our small village. Beyond mindless, how can they be let target our youth with this? @trevorgilligan@CllrEoinOBroin@MarkWardSF@EOBroin
On Saturday morning in Clondalkin, 10 people from the @roundtowers club will run - either a marathon or half marathon - around the perimeter of the Monastery Road pitch #GAA ⬇️
@DanielHussey2 You would only need ~3 of these to make it a better game. Rest of it wouldn’t be doable for club games, you’d effectively be creating 2 tiers of the same game.
Solo and go for frees is 👌
Kickouts beyond 40m
3 players left in opp 65
Goal= 4 points and no score for a handpass
Some of the Football Review Committee Sandbox Games Rules:
- 1 vs 1 for Throw-Ins (other midfielder starts on defensive 45m line)
- Kickouts must go beyond 40m arc and they may be taken with players still inside 20m line
- Goalkeeper can only receive the ball in large rectangle (played by player also in large rectangle) and beyond his 65m line
- Both players must keep 3 outfield players outside the 65m line of defending team at all times
- Advanced mark from ball kicked outside the 45m line and caught inside the 20m line
- 2 points for a point scored outside new 40m arc (45s still only 1 point)
- Goals are now worth 4 points
- New Tackle Definition - ‘Delay, Deny, Disposses’
- Free advanced 50m if free is delayed from opposition or dissent
- New option of 'Solo and Go’ for a free-kick
- New Black Card rule of 'deliberately delaying' an opponent by holding up the player but not grounding him
- Contribution to a melee now a Black Card (was Red)
- High-tackle added to aggressive foul section (Yellow Card)
- Dissent from team officials (challenge the authority of a match official) - 13m free in front of goal
- Length of advantage rule now at discretion of referee
- Stop Clock to be introduced
- Substitutions increased from 5 to 6
- More power for linesmen who can now signal a foul (previously could not do this)
- Vanishing foam for referees to use for free-kicks inside the 65m
- 30 second shot clock for frees and 45s
Other rule changes being considered:
- 'Solo and Go' for lineballs
- No fisted points with the hand
- Keepers may be challenged for the ball inside the small rectangle
- Enforce 4-steps rule more strictly
- Overtime shadow - if game is a draw, teams get one possession each to get a score (like NFL)
The above list has yet to be finalised for this month’s Interprovincial Series.

Special Congress in November to decide on the above rules after these games.
Blow it up ref. A vape and sweet shop in the one spot, on a road that has multiple schools on it. Is there any screening of what goes into these rentals? @DG____6@CllrEoinOBroin
@CllrEoinOBroin@trevorgilligan@DG____6 Bottom of new road a couple of doors to the left of Coby’s. Was a barber years ago and pet shop at different stages
@mickgaa@trevorgilligan@DG____6 Where exactly is that Mick? Yes there probably is no law. An issue in the village has been vapes being sold to under age. The Guards monitor that.
@trevorgilligan@DG____6@CllrEoinOBroin Something inherently wrong with a vape and sweet shop in the one place at the end of a road with 2 schools on it.
The Galway profiles in this week’s Tribune are absolutely brilliant.
A Year ‘til Sunday dominates favourite film, some big shouts for ideal date and Lee Keegan features more than once 😂
