This was a bad job by Steph on several levels. The substitutions in the first quarter, while I understand the theory behind them, were not good, especially that early in the quarter, especially having 2 of the big 3 off the floor at the same time, especially failing to sub them back in when Portland went on a run. Further, just a general failure to get the team to snap out of whatever funk they were in or adjust to anything they were doing (not that she didn't try, she threw the kitchen sink at the problem in terms of defenses and Portland beat them all). Bad job out of her tonight But that doesn't mean the blame ends with her. Caitlin could not stop fouling. Raven fouled out in a total of 10 minutes of play. AB could not stop fouling. The team couldn't throw the ball in the ocean no matter how open the looks were. Kelsey derped on basically every shot she took. Lexie just... inexplicable on both ends. There's a lot of blame to go around here and it would be dishonest to just call it a bad job by Steph and be done with it. Everyone has some very serious questions to ask themselves after this one

This is the result of @StephanieWhite's playing CC off ball. CC has fewer turnovers, but the overall team has more and it's way less effective. But compare to previous. CC ran the offense more, had the majority of the TOs, but the team had far fewer TOs and better offense.

@nosyone4 They'll run this with Raven and MHA, but not with CC and AB, at least not after 5 minutes in the 1st quarter then they both get benched. Fire Stephanie.

@kenswift Amber needs answers from the coaching staff tonight and if they aren't good ones, they should part ways. This is 8 quarters of the stupidest defensive scheme I've ever seen with no adjustments.
