I have some serious concerns about the direction we're heading. According to reports, @LFC have chosen Andoni Iraola simply because he is the only available manager at this moment. If that truly is the primary reason for appointing a manager to a club of Liverpool’s stature, then we are making a significant mistake. It appears Edwards and Hughes are prioritising a coach they can easily control — someone who will have little to no influence over transfers. If this is the case, we risk repeating the same errors that have plagued Chelsea and Manchester United, where short-term thinking and constant managerial changes have led to instability. What Liverpool needs is a long-term project with a clear vision, not another quick fix that could come back to haunt us.There are several high-calibre managers available who could deliver the stability and ambition we require — names like Jürgen Klopp (should he be open to returning), Julian Nagelsmann, Luis Enrique, and Unai Emery. All it would take is genuine effort and ambition from those in charge. Instead, it feels like key decision-makers are more focused on protecting their own positions than leaving the club in a stronger state for the future. We deserve better.

Sad to see such revisionism with Ibou Konate from some fans. Came as a kid who from a diff league and fully integrated himself into the LFC way of operating. Under the guidance of Matip and Vvd became one of the best channel and one on one cbs around. Didnt have a great last season but plenty of others didn’t either. Lost a mate and lost a father. Not sold on Iraola can't be sacking a Premier league winning manager and bringing in someone who's biggest achievement in football management is top half with Bournemouth. Not convinced.

I’m astonished Southampton fans want to keep their manager. Aren’t they worried he will break more rules and cost them badly again? 🚨 Another classy response released. Say what you will, at least all of these statements feel 100% genuine and I completely believe that the players were unaware of the scheming.
