Like Jon, I spent years studying Dan and this case (14 years), and eventually was allowed a 1 1/2 hour phone call with him. Just signed a deal for my Ancient Technologies episodes.
Pretty proud of myself honestly, because I did literally everything myself to make these documentaries happen.
Filming, travelling, researching, editing, narrating… all of it.
The deal is non-exclusive, so nothing disappears behind a paywall and the episodes will remain public on my platforms.
But still… I made something myself, and a company wanted what I created.
I think that’s pretty awesome.

This is one of many insider stories that seem to confirm the original film was actually about an elite pedo ring. The studio and Kubrick allegedly fought over the film after having seen an edit.
Kubrick died before the film was released and the studio reedited it significantly before the premier.
