This Police Week is a week to honor our nation’s law enforcement officers and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting our communities. Perhaps it will remind my Democrat colleagues of just how much we need all of our nation’s law enforcement officers.

Rep. Byron Donalds just CALLED OUT the Senate for failing to pass the SAVE America Act. He blasted them for getting distracted by nonsense instead of doing their job. DONALDS: “I think the Senate, instead of worrying about some of those items need to go past the SAVE America Act.” “That’s the thing every American want to see get done, and the United States Senate has FAILED to do so.” “Those Senators need to do that job and get it done.” “Secondarily, if you are now going to bring up issues around this fund or around the ballroom, and that is going to stop you from continuing to opening up the funding again for our ICE agents, for our border patrol agents, for our customs agents — then you have misplaced your priorities.” “You can be upset about one thing...but you still have to get the job done.” “The United States Senate needs to get back to work. Pass the funding out so that we can pass it in the House.” “We were more than prepared and ready to do so, and then Senators for whatever reason, they got distracted.” “That does not make any sense to me! They are supposed to be the more senior body.” Donalds is demanding the Senate stop the nonsense and get the job done.
