For years, patients were told that coming off antidepressants was straightforward. But some have described intense and prolonged symptoms. Now, doctors and health officials are reckoning with the challenges of getting off SSRIs. wapo.st/42yetJq

Mike Johnson says Congress can't survive on $174k because of inflation, and uses that to justify letting members trade stocks. Incredible take from the guy who decided his only job was taking orders from the President.

@R89Capital No it’s just because the TAM for privacy is small. And retail doesn’t care about it, they have been exposing their data to big tech for ages. New cool tech > privacy

And there it is. Elon Musk just said he wants to cut Social Security and Medicare, calling them “entitlements”: “That’s the big one to eliminate.”

It is unethical and considered unprofessional to directly sell medications/supplements to patients, especially when the benefit is scientifically dubious.

Yeah, didn't work. I tried all the bullshit. Exercise, eating better, meditation, supplements... It all made it worse honestly, I lost a lot of weight because anxiety caused me to also lose my appetite. I finally bit the bullet and started Lexapro. At first it was horrible as it made it worse but I stuck to it. After several months it was almost overnight where one day I was so much better and didn't constantly feel like I was on a roller coaster. I suffered for over a year because I was too afraid to get on an SSRI due to everyone saying they were so bad. I will forever resent anyone that is against them now because people like them caused me to almost destroy my life.

There is no ethically valid reason to ever prescribe an SSRI.

Being a part of various crypto projects and communities I've noticed a common occurrence that many of these projects need to have their mods go through some sort of customer service training.

@rawsalerts Why didn’t they call the ambulance instead of standing around???? His life is on the line. They are ALL LIABLE for inability of fast action. Will the family of the injured/possibly deceased sue frontier for not acting fast?

🚨#BREAKING: Watch as a Frontier Airlines aircraft forced to make an emergency after a pedestrian on the runway was struck and sucked into one of the jet’s engines

📌#Denver | #Colorado Watch as horrifying footage from earlier this morning shows the moment Frontier Flight 4345, departing from Denver International Airport and bound for Los Angeles, was forced into an emergency evacuation after a man reportedly walked onto the active runway and was sucked into one of the aircraft’s engines during takeoff. The impact triggered a brief engine fire, which was quickly extinguished by airport firefighters. Officials later confirmed the individual had been walking on the runway prior to the incident, though the reason remains unknown and is now under investigation. No injuries were reported among the 231 passengers onboard the aircraft. Frontier Airlines and federal investigators are now reviewing how the person was able to gain access to an active runway at one of the largest airports in the United States, raising serious questions about perimeter and airfield security procedures.
