It is unethical and considered unprofessional to directly sell medications/supplements to patients, especially when the benefit is scientifically dubious.

Yeah, didn't work. I tried all the bullshit. Exercise, eating better, meditation, supplements... It all made it worse honestly, I lost a lot of weight because anxiety caused me to also lose my appetite. I finally bit the bullet and started Lexapro. At first it was horrible as it made it worse but I stuck to it. After several months it was almost overnight where one day I was so much better and didn't constantly feel like I was on a roller coaster. I suffered for over a year because I was too afraid to get on an SSRI due to everyone saying they were so bad. I will forever resent anyone that is against them now because people like them caused me to almost destroy my life.

There is no ethically valid reason to ever prescribe an SSRI.

@midblade @fixtheglitchnow We didn't just make up PSSD and sexual dysfunction caused by SSRIs. PSSD certainly exists, and the fact that SSRIs often cause sexual dysfunction has been well known for years.

Prozac and other SSRIs should have been taken off the market 35 years ago when their harmful effects first became known.
