The truth is: God doesn't exist. The #ArtemisII flyby the moon which directly again for the 1 millionth time disproves the Tower of Babel and splitting the moon fairytales (Bible and Quran) is another proof that those books are simply filled will lies. Again, man created God when man was ignorant of a lot of things. Man knows better now and can explore our world, solar system, galaxy more. Science does need faith or belief. Science is REAL. Science gives you verifiable proofs.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

@Pontifex How much is the Vatican worth? I’ve been there and it seemed pretty boujie so someone preaching about disproportionate wealth. Google says it’s worth 10-15 BILLION. That would probably help a few out of poverty.

Hundreds of millions of people throughout the world are immersed in extreme poverty. Yet, disproportionate wealth remains in the hands of a few. It is an unjust scenario, in the face of which we cannot fail to question ourselves and commit to change things. There is no lack of resources at the root of disparities, but the need to address solvable problems related to a more equitable distribution of wealth, to be achieved with moral sense and honesty.

@middamitch @MattVautour424 @NCAA Would you support a rule that says the head football coach can make no more $$ than the highest paid faculty member in the biology department? If not, ask yourself why?

@anthonyraia_ Adults aren’t changing schools every year. The average head football coach in college football averages 4.7 years per school.

@PaulMeloan @MattVautour424 @NCAA I don’t care about any of that. I care about young people getting and education and playing the game they love. If the so happen they make money doing it, then great. But that shouldn’t be the main point.

@QuincyAvery That one in particular won’t hold up in court but it will create conversations with people who do make decisions and a happy medium will be reached and college football can be saved.

Thankful that @JayBilas addressed this on College GameDay. Suddenly college sports need “saving” because college athletes are being paid and can transfer. Suddenly the NCAA needs antitrust protection. Odd. For decades, while everyone ate off the backs of college athletes, nobody sought federal regulation. Nobody sought an antitrust exemption. The urgency to lobby Congress to "save college sports" only came to be once the college athletes started getting paid. Let that sink in.

@PaulMeloan @MattVautour424 @NCAA Ok. Then why does every professional sport have rules and ncaa does not? I want young people to pick a school they love and go there. Make money, developed as a player and person, and get an education. Transferring every year only does the first.

@middamitch @MattVautour424 Everything is about money, especially in elite D1 @NCAA athletics. Restrict movement = restrict money. So far, everyone who wants change wants the athletes to give something up for nothing in return.

@PaulMeloan @MattVautour424 It’s not about the money. It’s about the lack of regulation of transfer portal and tampering. It’s not sustainable. Change is coming.

Built a multi billion dollar industry on unpaid labor (college athletes). Now paying them is unsustainable? That is not a system problem, that is accountability. It’s not about economics it’s about control. The only thing unsustainable is a model built on uncompensated labor.

@jrl_texas @TBrown_80 Go ask those kids and find the truth. Talk to some former students . Some had nothing to eat . Compared to the millions the school make off the backs of the players not eve close. Nobody forcing the schools to pay. Dabo complains , but check his bank account.

100% agree. College sports wasn’t broken when CBS paid billions for the hoops tournament. Not when conferences and schools realigned to make hundreds of millions. Not when coaches made tens of millions. Only broken because the kids get a piece?
Mit Winter@WinterSportsLaw

As @JayBilas correctly points out, there’s a lot of hypocrisy in college athletics right now. It’s only when athletes begin to get paid that it’s necessary to have a federal law to “save college sports.”
