@GovMikeKehoe @Google I swear to God if this is a data center or anything having to do with flock cameras you will completely lose my support.

Headed to Montgomery County today to celebrate a major announcement for Missouri with @Google.
Next-generation technology investments like these strengthen Missouri's economy, create high-paying jobs, and position our state for long-term growth and opportunity.
Excited to share more soon.

@GaryBess12 Leaving north city not the good parts

@obi_1987 @LeadingReport It mostly doesn’t spread person to person

@TylerSmall812 @Archon314 @RT_com This is just an example of its capabilities, not the end use case. They need to start training it on something simple, then move up the chain.

That's not the argument that I'm making. I know that AI and robots are getting better.
Introducing complex arms and legs on a robot that's moving packages slowly 2 feet is too expensive when we have the necessary robots and machines that can do that specific job much faster and cheaper.
There's a reason why Amazon's robot shelves are on wheels and not legs. It doesn't need to be able to do a variety of tasks. It doesn't need to hold a paintbrush, write a poem, or drive a car. It's a robot shelf that needs to be just smart enough to know what it's carrying and where it needs to go.

You’re thinking too small. Humanoids are early, and yes, this specific use case may be simple and imperfect, but calling it useless is the wrong conclusion. GPT-3.5 wasn’t great at coding at first, but it could still code. If you had looked at that early version and said AI would never become good at programming, you would have been badly wrong. Humanoids are on the same kind of trajectory. Give them five years, and they’ll be handling significantly more difficult work.
English

What are the variety of tasks? It doesn't need to take a break. It doesn't need legs.
All it's doing is awkwardly picking things up from a chute and pushing them onto a conveyor belt, which I'm assuming goes to a machine to actually sort the packages. It's not even putting the barcodes the same direction. All the packages are backing up on the chute because it's not fast enough.
The chute should just go right to the conveyor belt.

@stlouisbiz People leaving north city, the main parts of the city that actually generate revenue are growing.
English

The city lost 23,205 residents from 2020 to 2025, a faster rate than the previous decade. A demographer warns the city may soon face natural population decline. bizjournals.com/stlouis/news/2…

@Eric_Schmitt In your home state of Missouri, Centene is massively overstaffed with H1Bs. They are laying off Americans and keeping them.

Sorry to my friends in the Great Lakes but these circles are where the ‘climate refugees’ from FL TX AZ are going to move, not inner city Detroit and Milwaukee

@Beganovic2026 @mitchisright It will be traced to non profits and the paper trail will disappear from there.
English

@mitchisright No it won’t. City has a dashboard that every dollar spent can be traced to vendors and projects and is audited by a 3rd party auditor. I get having to read is tough and being ignorant and lazy is easy but we all make choices
English

Top line number, a Beganovic exclusive;
North St.Louis: $110,000,000
Citywide infrastructure: $65,000,000
Downtown: $55,000,000

Details are still being hammered out but expect the Rams settlement bill next Friday, partial amount will be left in a reserve

@Stfu10521 @zagrebbi Nah they usually dont have high enough scores. Plus they usually only excel at a few sports (basketball, football, track), while colleges offer dozens more (volleyball, tennis, golf, hockey, water polo, swimming) which are overwhelmingly white.
English

@midwestern_guyy @zagrebbi I thought majority of the athletes are blacks? Its not?
