Top 3 Trails title theme. There’s so much emotion in every note. Regret, resolve, fear, and ultimately an underlying sense of compassion. Each of those are what define Van Arkride, and we couldn’t have asked for a better theme for Calvard’s first game.

@ClientPacific23 Is simply not interested in all that, and that’s completely understandable. That said, while most people see all that and leave, a small number of people see this as a one of a kind franchise. I’m glad that people like you and me have found a series that speaks to us so much.

@ClientPacific23 100%. I also realized that a big part of what makes this series so special is also what makes it so inaccessible and niche. Trails wouldn’t be Trails without the multi game plot lines, extensive worldbuilding across 20 years, and long-running character arcs. The average person

The one thing that makes me sad about trails is that I legitimately can’t convince anyone to play the games because it’s such a long series and most people I know aren’t into jrpgs the same way that I am, this series means so much to me it’s changed a lot of things about me

@verolsdk @WhenIsKai2 Musse playing the bad guy to get more publicity for the series is exactly in line with her in game actions. Even in the real world, she’s playing 4D chess.

@WhenIsKai2 I saw this meme long ago when I knew nothing about trails and looked Musse up and thought this series looked interesting and I should play it sometime and years later got around to playing Sky finally, so I guess Musse is the reason my backlog now is 70% Falcom games

@Aisoreta2 @TidyWire As a Ky player, I’ve become keenly aware just how unsafe projectiles are against Gio. This move goes through every projectile once it’s active, so you can only throw stuff at her out of its range.

@Vaz48037517 @Un1d_ Besides the Alex story situation, the issue people have with SF6 is that the patches are really small and infrequent. The general hierarchy of the game is more or less the same as when the game released, and unpopular mechanics like throw loops still exist.

@YuuyuuSQ @hakurokaku That’s the worst part. If he had these takes in a vacuum, it would be fine. Instead, they’re just paraded around for others to feel discouraged by. It’s one thing to ruin a game for yourself. It’s another to do so for your whole audience.

@mighty_ze @hakurokaku Refusing to give the game a chance deadass is the worst thing to do and just sets yourself up for failure when you’re preparing yourself for only failure It’s genuinely infuriating to see each time because it significantly just diminishes the quality of the series for peeps
