I’ve never cycled 100 miles before, and work last year didn’t leave a lot of space for exercise - so in 2023 I’ve been out on my bike more than ever before. I’ve ridden over 700 miles so far this year building up distance. Not always in the best weather 🚴🌧️

Rapid vision loss was the first symptom, then onset of childhood dementia, followed by seizures, loss of motor and language skills and then death. #BattenDisease is terminal. And so the focus has become making memories and adapting the family home for Caitlin’s needs.

On May 28th I’m cycling 100 miles to raise money for Safe Haven 4 Caitlin. In October 2021, Nick and Naomi received devastating news that their daughter, 7 year old Caitlin has Juvenile Onset CLN3. Also known as Batten Disease. gofund.me/5bc5b3fb
