Last week we had a visit from Visiting Reader and TBL consultant @PRajalingam. He delivered a seminar exploring the benefits and pitfalls of innovative changes to #teambasedlearning, attended by academics from CHMLs, @Bruneluni clinician educators and #BMS staff.

This week we ran a TBL involving nearly 60 students from @Bruneluni .The pilot was modelled on the approach to TBL at BMS. Teams were strategically formed representing a wide range of programmes from both UG and PG levels. 1/2

Students explored the history of temperature measurements, the relevance of temperature in many aspects of life, and the economic impact of ice storage. It was fantastic to witness their engagement and sometimes passionate defence of their team response.2/2

Student feedback indicated that TBL was an engaging way of learning and enabled them to explore concepts in depth. The Content Expert for this session was Prof @mikeFrncz and TBL Facilitator @natalie_parnis Well done to everyone involved!
