@danamalt As rough as the results have been, I’m with you (Fab ;)) Hellberg's transformed the way we play. Frustrating losing because we can’t finish the basic chances. But in Dec we bounced back from that problem. Now, fingers crossed we can do the same, hit our xG and get the goals.

@ellahedgerr God, I hope we’re capable of winning both. Do we ever do things the easy way, though? That’s the Boro way. Robbo’s rollercoaster, Cardiff/Zenden’s pen, Karanka walkout chaos. I need Friday nights, Mendieta and co spanking Man Utd. But I’ll happily take two scruffy 1–0s this week.

I am honestly just thinking about Saturday’s game now against Oxford and of course the following Tuesday against Leicester. Next two games are at home and we need to capitalize on that.

@Loulameg That gave me flashbacks to maccarone and Boro’s UEFA dream journey. You had a feeling, despite everything telling you that you will loae the game. And, then just as ridiculous as it was, a player who shouldn’t score a goal as sensational as that steps up, all casual like.

@untypicalboro Just like we need 3 north east teams competing in the Prem, it’s better to have as many of the home nations in the World Cup as possible- as long as England and Boro come out on top. But , that 3rd goal took me back in time to Maccarone’s historic goals.
