I’ve been building on @arc for the past 2-3 months and there’s a whole lot I learnt about Arc that you probably don’t know about yet. The biggest one is this: Arc changes how you think about product design. At first, I thought I was just building on another EVM chain. But the longer I built, the more I noticed something different. Most chains make you design around the chain. Arc makes you design around the economic action. On many chains, payment feels like something you add after everything else. On Arc, payment starts feeling like part of the product logic from day one. Every flow starts forcing better questions: Who is paying? Why are they paying? When should the payment move? What must happen before it moves? Who approves it? What is the proof? That is the part that clicked for me. Arc is not only about fast transactions or cheap fees. The bigger shift is that it makes stable money feel programmable in a way normal users can understand. USDC is already familiar. So instead of spending half the product experience explaining a new gas token, the app can focus on the actual action: Fund this. Approve this. Release this. Refund this. Settle this. Pay this agent. That’s where Arc starts to feel different. The best Arc apps may not look like DeFi dashboards. They may look like work tools, marketplaces, payment apps, agent platforms, commerce products, and business software where USDC quietly powers what is happening underneath. After building on Arc for a while, my view changed. I don’t think Arc’s biggest advantage is only that it is fast or cheap. I think the real advantage is that it pushes builders to think in economic workflows, not just onchain interactions.
