@Maximumatheist @VictorWard1996 It's worth noting the Vatican is the richest organisation in the world. Matthew 19:21 Jesus said to him, “If you wish to be perfect, go, sell your possessions, and give the moneyc to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; Are you listening Pope Francis?

@VictorWard1996 Most of the folks that speak for a deity also want your money coincidentally.

@SteveTiger999 @NoHolyScripture I have yet to meet a Christian who is aware that Yahweh/Jehovah, was a TransJordanian bedouin wargod from the Bronze Age adopted by Jews and then Rome who have turned it into the Christian god we know of today.

Why keep religion out of the science classroom? Contrary to claims, there IS a conflict between science and religion, so forget the so-called ‘non-overlapping magisteria’. Science has given rise to unprecedented advances in knowledge and technology and can help inform our grounding of morality in the rational, empirical examination of the natural world. Morality is biological and psychological, not divine. Religion, on the other hand, isn’t regularly foolishly wrong, but is also in conflict with not only its own tenets, but with those of competing/other religions. Ossified, religious arguments are riddled with logical fallacies, anecdotal evidence and fallacious reasoning. Believing both in science and religion cannot but create cognitive dissonance. That’s why many theists slander science! Let’s celebrate Reason & Compassion, not Faith & Fiction.

@SteveTiger999 @BilltheCatGuy1 I find it strange that anyone would worship a "God" who the Bible tells us drowned every man woman and child on the planet, most of whom had never even heard of him. Doesn't Yahweh/Jehovah sound more like a genocidal maniac than a moral god that should be praised

@PastorAlexLove About as real as pro "wrestling". It's no surprise. Much of pro wrestling is rooted in the US south. Listen to some of the mic work from guys like Flair and Dusty Rhodes. Heavily influenced by so-called "Christian" preachers who knew how to get the marks to buy their bullshit.

The worst imaginable punishment (eternally burning in Hellfire) is administered by an unforgiving, implacable, alleged Biblical god. No judge today would ever pass any such sentence, even for the worst imaginable crime committed. Alleged Biblical god is a cruel, sadistic jerk!

@lillai23 I have always wondered why anyone would worship a mythical bronze age TransJordanian bedouin wargod when the history attached to his story is that he drowned every person on the planet and even allowed his own son to be cruelly killed in order to forgive mankind their sins. #Vile

Looking at the murderous history of Christianity & Islam, from where do they derive any justification to lecture us on morality?! I’d rather trust today’s secular, moral philosophers & scientists et al, such as Pinker, Singer, Harris Chomsky to help guide us to moral goodness!

It's certainly entertaining to watch Christians, who are adamant that God had a son with a virgin, become aghast and mock @DrKippDavis and others for presenting Genesis 4:1 as suggesting that God also had a son (the first murderer) with a virgin.
