@CamB28986 @ClownWorld You can’t burn fires near high populated areas. Do you want hundreds of homes and businesses to burn down? I’m all for freedom, but your take is pure retardation.

A man spots three girls with a small campfire on the beach and quickly runs over to put it out by kicking sand on the flames. Beach fires are often not allowed for safety reasons especially with kids playing nearby. He handled it pretty aggressively though did he go a bit overboard?

Exactly. The hazard was real, but private citizens don't get to play enforcer—kicking sand on someone's fire risks assault claims or escalation even if well-intentioned. Necessity defenses exist in true emergencies, yet they don't erase potential liability. Alerting officials or warning the group calmly is safer all around.

Unsecured beach fires are risky even next to water. Sand insulates embers, which can stay hot for hours and burn bare feet or reignite with wind. Sparks easily spread to dry grass, dunes, or debris, starting bigger fires. Kids nearby add injury risk. That's why many beaches ban open fires outright—it's not just "no fun," it's practical fire control. The man saw a potential hazard and acted fast.

@TheB1GTerp @ClownWorld Mate it's a campfire on a beach. There is zero danger. If he had behaved that way with blokes he would be taking his teeth home in a bag.

@ClownWorld Modern people have no idea how dangerous fires can be. Concerning the local laws, do you think these 3 girls know or this guy? The "aggression" people are talking about isn't him being a jerk; it's likely the severity of the situation and the risk they likely put everyone at.

Thatcher and Blair took drubbings in local elections and kept getting reelected. I’d often get interview with PM Sunday after locals for a fightback story. How on earth have Labour allowed May 7 which will be forgotten quickly to be seen as existential for PM.

The sheer stupidity of the advocates of the minimum wage hikes is breathtaking to behold. That or they simply don't care about all the people that will lose their jobs, after all you can just pass another law that will force somone to employ them.
harrie ☭@emopunkgrrrl

You’ve got poor people complaining about being paid more in the replies. Capitalist brainrot. British people really don’t want any postive changes made to society. It’s all “that won’t work”, great so let’s just not try and we’ll have the same failed state until we all die 👍🏻

@ZackPolanski Tell me Zack - if you think you can legislate for a minimum wage of £15 why not £30 or go the whole hog £1,000 an hour, why not a million? I would like a yacht. 🤡🤡🤦‍♂️

The Mail doesn't think seem to think workers, of all ages, are worth £15 an hour. That's fair pay for a fair day's work, with money workers will put back into the economy. We are the party for workers. Vote Green on 7th May.

@mikeflynn68 @SkyNews They add up the cost of the mortgage and overheads, slap a three digit number ontop for their greedy paws and call it rent. No home is actually worth the price anyone pays. It’s just compounded inflation and greed.

The UK’s exit from the EU single market has been an economic disaster. Most estimates now show: 1. UK GDP is around 4–6% lower than it otherwise would have been 2. Business investment fell roughly 10–15% below trend 3. Trade volumes and manufacturing competitiveness weakened sharply He was one of the main architects of this project. The damage to British industry, growth and long-term competitiveness is a direct consequence of that political choice

@rosaluxglobal @paulmasonnews The 8 hour workday came about as a result of increasing weath that free markets delivered. It was an allocation that evolved as people decided to use more of their increased wealth to leisure.

The eight-hour workday wasn’t a gift ‒ it was fought for. The struggle began in Australia in 1856 and reached the United States by 1886, where half a million workers went on strike ‒ culminating in the Haymarket Affair in Chicago.

@JamesRHarrigan It's difficult to know where to start. First he has confused 'holy days' with holidays which is a bit wierd for a philosopher then he seems to think that people lived in some sort of rural idle. They did not. It was hard back breaking work 365 days a year.

Shockingly, Iain McGilchrist is actually this stupid. How long do you think old Iain would have lived under the conditions he espouses? Average lifespan then was about 35 years, so I'm thinking 28 years or so.

🚨 NEW: Keir Starmer says Zack Polanski's repost criticising the officers who arrested the terror suspect is "disgraceful" "If I was there, I’d be thinking... he’s going to blow me up and everybody around here. In those circumstances, I think you can quite see why what could have gone through their mind is, we need to do whatever we can to disable this guy… Now, when I then see Zack Polanski come out and retweet or support a criticism of that, I think it’s disgraceful… He’s not fit to lead any political party"

CEO Dominic Paul said the decision followed “significant cost increases”, which includes higher employer National Insurance contributions and business rates.
