@timecaptales @historyinmemes The other Beatles looked quite amazed.
They knew straight away this was a great song.
One of The Beatles best songs in my opinion.

The Beatles' iconic Abbey Road album cover, captured in 1969, features one of the greatest photobombs in history. As the Fab Four walk across a zebra crossing in North West London, a mystery man in a brown jacket and white shirt stands in the background, gazing toward the musicians.
This unintentional addition became a focal point for fans, leading to numerous claims of being the man in the photo. Eventually identified as American tourist Paul Cole, he explained in a 2004 interview that he stumbled into the background while waiting for his wife outside a museum.
The photograph, taken by lain Macmillan, was the result of a 10-minute shoot during which a hired policeman managed traffic for the band, capturing the now-iconic 'V' formation in the chosen fifth shot of six.

@timecaptales @historyinmemes Paul was arguably the most talented in the band

I’m sorry you lost your son. The fault lies with all 4 of you as parent in your failure to teach your sons proper firearm safety. If they understood the dangers as well as how to mitigate those risks through proper training, they would have been less curious and less dangerous upon finding that weapon. The fault does not lie with peaceable people. Threatening to jail peaceable people for your failure will not bring your son back.

My name is Kristin Song.
On January 31, 2018, my son Ethan was shot in the head in his best friend's house. The father/gun owner stored 3 handguns and ammunition in a shoebox. Ethan's friend had been accessing the guns for over 6 months.
At the hospital, the ER doctor slid down the wall, put his head in his hands, and whispered, "Your son is gone." At that instant, all I knew, loved and trusted was imploded into a million tiny pieces.
I begged to say goodbye to my beautiful boy. I wanted to kiss his forehead, tell him how cherished he was, and tuck him in one last time. But the doctor begged me to remember Ethan as he was, you see, he was unrecognizable even to my eyes.
The day before Thanksgiving in 2018, the prosecutor told me she would not charge the negligent gun owner, and if I wanted negligent gun owners to be held accountable, I would have to change the law.
So I did.
6 months later, Connecticut passed Ethan's Law, which requires gun owners to secure their weapons if children can gain access.
Then, I learned that so many states stood silent on this issue, so in 2019, I turned my attention to passing Ethan's Law nationally. I met with over 400 congressional offices, 130 of them Republican.
In 2022, Ethan's Law was passed in the House of Representatives as part of the Safer Communities Act. Sadly, it was not picked up in the final package.
When the Democrats lost the House of Representatives in 2023, I pivoted to passing safe gun storage laws in the States. As a result, Michigan, New Mexico, and Maryland passed safe storage laws.
Currently, I am working with 5 states to pass Ethan's Law.
I am emotionally and mentally exhausted, but I will not stop until there is a cultural shift in this country where it becomes second nature to secure your weapons around unsupervised children.
If you believe in protecting children from gun violence, please follow and repost.

@saiwutuwheel @indexnforgetit This guy doesn’t want to hear that, because HE is fine. He is also either older than millennials, born with financial advantages, or both. Although I doubt we will see an admission of that.
English

@indexnforgetit 50 years of wage stagnation, several rounds of inflation and now globalization turning us into a service economy. It will continue to get harder for many people. Others will find an angle, as always. The US is sliding, no question. As is the UK.
English

Truth is, Millennials are the first generation to have unlimited access to information at their fingertips
It's never been easier to pick someone successful, learn how they got there and copy it
These videos are a cope for those not willing to put in the work day after day
Wall Street Mav@WallStreetMav
Do Millennials have it tougher than previous generations? 🔊 ... 🤨
English

@indexnforgetit You, sir, are an idiot. Real wages flat for 40 years adjusted for inflation. I am making the same real wage as I did 20 years ago, with an advanced degree. I did everything right, & can’t get ahead. Now with a wife and 4 kids. The solution is ‘don’t have kids’, I guess.

In 1999, Australian truck driver Bill Morgan was involved in a serious accident that left him in a coma. Even though doctors said he had no chance of living, he miraculously woke up after 12 days and was completely fine.
Feeling lucky for having survived, he went on and bought a scratch lottery ticket. The result? He won a $17,000 car.
Normally, winning a car wouldn’t have made it to the news, but because of Morgan’s accident story, Channel 9 decided to do a feature on the man who was "clinically dead and came back to win the lottery."
While filming, they asked him to buy a lottery ticket so they could reenact the winning scratch. He happily obliged and started scratching the ticket on camera. To everyone's dismay, he won a further $250,000.

Paranormal investigator Lorraine Warren holds the original Annabelle doll, a "possessed" Raggedy Ann that began terrorizing her owner in 1970.
Allegedly, Annabelle would change positions during the night while her owner slept and start popping up in different rooms throughout the apartment, all on her own.
One day, a friend was taking a nap in the apartment, and, when he woke up, Annabelle was staring at him and he had the feeling he was being strangled before noticing claw marks down his torso.

@jw460 @cometpride1971 @OHSAASports @OHEducation S/he’s talking about parents abusing officials. And to answer the question, they make it a point of emphasis every year with member schools and encourage early intervention with ejections and suspensions for the parent/spectator.
English

@cometpride1971 @OHSAASports @OHEducation What’s the Ohio High School Athletic Association have to do with child abuse?
You want to troll CPS or JFS for that
English

The @OHEducation has announced that it will now recognize a sports officiating license issued by the #OHSAA as an Industry Recognized Credential, which can be counted as credit toward high school graduation requirements within the health career field.

@TOPhysicsTutor @SmircleMc @wolfofx @fasc1nate That’s what I was thinking… it’s the biggest scam to come out id the 19th century. Well, maybe not the biggest. There were a lot of scams in the 1800s.
English

@jaw1964 @wolfofx @fasc1nate Eh, I don’t think doing it on animals should lead to arrest. I’m not saying it’s a good idea, but I’d stop short of arrest.
But babies - absolutely. Anyone who thinks a baby needs an “adjustment” is full of so much shit, and needlessly risking lifetime injury.
English

@wolfofx @fasc1nate They should have this person arrested.

@whispering_wisp @wolfofx @fasc1nate It’s not hate, it’s just the truth. Chiropractors are bullsh*t.

@barbwodecki @ulriklykke @wolfofx @fasc1nate Wish I had the lack of ethics to do that. I’d be rich off of idiots.
English

@ulriklykke @wolfofx @fasc1nate if money is your main goal and you don't care that it might be bullshit
