Do you know how strange it would be if Republicans felt about New Zealand the way they feel about Israel? Just the undying love, worship and devotion. If they loved it so much that if you criticized New Zealand you were branded an enemy of America. The obsession goes further than how the average Democrat feels about Ukraine. It's so insane when you apply it to legitimately any other country. The British lobby donating millions to defeat an opponent who says beans and toast suck. My stance on Massie and my problem with him stems from his opinions on what's necessary to secure our country. I disagree with him a lot on a lot, I'm not a libertarian. I'm not going to argue with you about that. We do not align on those very important metrics. That's not why he lost, though. That's not why this was such an expensive primary. Had he voted for the BBB, the Israel lobby would have spent the same amount of money defeating him. There are a lot of positions you can hold and still get elected as a Republican. Holding any unfavorable views on Israel is not one of them. It would be difficult if you even held a neutral stance. You have to be passionate about Israel. It's why I'm pivoting away from politics. It's pointless.

This connects to the inflation/deflation question. Zoomers making $70k/yr now did not get a 30% raise over the last five years, nor do they expect to get a similar raise over the next five years (they expect to be unemployed thanks to AI^2 - Artificial Intelligence + Actually Indians). Ok so right now they can have a nice lunch for $28. In 5 years that same lunch will be $37. And it probably won't even be the same lunch: it will have smaller portions, worse ingredients, and be served by less attractive and personable staff, because not only does everything get more expensive in the vampiric scam economy, it gets steadily worse over time. The choice isn't between hedonic satisfaction now and a greater reward later, it's between immediate pleasure and future pain, with the future pain being guaranteed. This is what happens when the people administering the marshmallow test fail it, by rugpulling the kids who waited for the second marshmallow. Inflationary monetary systems destroy time preference, because the only reward for patience is getting screwed.

Engineer for the physical world in a regulated industry upstream of human safety. Almost no one learned Python, ML, advanced controls math, etc. I did and it’s a super power. Now almost no one is trying to learn AI. commercial attempts are still malformed moves to replace junior engineers (dumb, short sighted). Few software-first people have successfully made in roads. In fact I can only think of one team. Maybe robots change this as they can eventually learn the physical world like LLMs learn the thought world. This feels much further off. Software is an incredible means to an end. Many ends never actually needed people or were *for* people.

The greatest divide on the Right today is not over taxes, trade, immigration, foreign affairs, or any other policy question. The divide isn’t even over how to fight. It’s whether there should be a fight at all. By and large, older Conservatives still can’t bring themselves to think outside of proceduralism because that’s all they’ve ever known, while the younger Right wants the permanent disempowerment of the Left, because it sees them as an existential threat.

"According to Jesus we're supposed to turn the other cheek when we're hurt, right?" "Yes. In Jesus' time, a person that backhanded your cheek was treating you as lesser. So you turn the other cheek, forcing them to strike you as an equal." "What does that have to do with immigration?" "The contention is that immigrants are allowed to treat us as lesser because they come from incompatible cultures and attack us. But we can't then tell them no, because that's 'racist'." "That seems contrary to what Jesus taught." "It is, and amazingly so. Non-Christians often seize on the idea that Jesus advocated for non-violence to tell Christians to shut up and take what's being done to them." "Are you sure that's what Jesus taught? It's not like you could ask him personally. He predates you by a millennium, right?" "Jesus makes the same point with the story of giving away your cloak, and with going the extra mile. In the latter's case, a Roman soldier could make an Israelite carry anything like a pack mule for up to a mile. It was a humiliation. But Jesus told them to carry it another mile, to treat the Roman as you would a friend, which would both shame them and force them to treat you as a person instead of a mule." "What about the cloak?" "When you're poor and living in an ancient society, your cloak is vital for getting through the cold nights. In Jesus' time, it was common to get around this by demanding the other person give you their shirt. But if you give them the cloak as well, it is a deliberate provocation: if they take the shirt and cloak, they will be shamed by the community." "And... the good samaritan?" "The point was the man who was a neighbor was not the priest or the Levite, but the one who showed mercy to his neighbor. It doesn't say 'everyone is your neighbor', in fact it states the opposite rather plainly. It's your actions that make you a neighbor, NOT your ethnicity." "So, not everyone is your neighbor?" "The neighbor shows mercy to those who have been hurt." "What does that have to do with immigration?" "Nothing. They've decided it means that you must allow immigrants to raid and attack you and treat you like garbage without retaliation of any sort. You can't even say 'stop it' without being declared racist." "Then why did he bring up Christianity at all?" "Because he's not a Christian and doesn't understand it."

Christ’s gospel was so radical, so contrary to the wisdom of the world, that people are still coping 2000 years later, insisting that he didn’t actually mean what he said.

I became right wing when I realized that modrn left wing politics exists exclusively to make this happen "No it doesn't! We don't care" Then I would ask if they would be OK reversing or stopping it? "Thats different! That's racism! You can't ever stop it!" Just insane.

To bring you guys up to speed, one of the original Guntubers was arrested by the FBI because one of his videos on explosives was saved by a domestic terrorist. He's being charged with "distributing information related to manufacturing explosives" for basically just reading the anarchist cookbook or some other explosives book (which is legal to own) and showing the steps in a video on YouTube. He's also being charged with "possession of an unregistered destructive device" which could mean anything with how the government interprets intent on that given day (example, you could have a bunch of gunpowder because you reload and pipes because you weld or something and the government could say you have a destructive device because you COULD make a pipe bomb). All this while Jamal on the block goes on Instagram live with his face uncovered and a Glock with a switch while having 47 prior felonies where the judge let him off with a warning. Our two tiered justice system is broken and we need to do something about it before it crushes us one by one.
Jonathan Campbell@FocusTripp2

Dugans's bond was denied this morning in court, and he will spend the duration of the trial in federal custody. Among many reasons, some outright lies or at least omissions by the FBI, the closing reason by the female judge was "hate speech". Which is odd since that's not a legal category as far as I was aware. I got to sit in the courtroom with his wife and family during the process. The only words he spoke were "I love you" to his wife while being escorted out by US Marshalls. More to come.

Patents, like peer reviewed publications, look impressive in CVs, and many institutions reward them. I have seen this with my own eyes, after my host institution offered a bonus for patent applications (not registrations!) my PhD-advisor promptly applied for a patent to convert garbage into energy with higher dimensional black hole relics (which, for all we know, don’t exist). A research team with lead at Northwestern University in the United States reports a new type of academic fraud: fake patents. They have found multiple companies which sell credits on UK registered designs to academics, mostly in India, who can use them to boost promotion scores and institutional rankings. UK registered designs are not technically patents. They protect appearance, not function, and are not checked for novelty before registration, which makes them fast and cheap to obtain. The companies sold these off for prices corresponding to roughly $20 to $400 per authorship. Many of the fake patents had long technical-sounding titles, multiple academic applicants, recycled images, and implausible products, including an alleged artificial intelligence skin-cancer device that appears to be a modified Glock pistol model (see image).

Chud the Builder is a generational activist who says more with one word than every rw poster on this website. Humiliation rituals work. That's why the left does them. He's directly attacking the keystone of antiwhite social power that makes horror stories like below possible.

I guess they shouted some mean words at them after being confronted? Everyone knows this would NEVER be the same sentence in the reverse.
