@NickAndert It always saddens me that the Expo stop on Westwood/Rancho Park (aka the most direct rail stop to UCLA until the D line opens) is a sea of single family homes. I guess that’s better than an empty lot though.

@numble I’m surprised Option 1 is still on the table given how poor ridership projections from metro are. I fuss if both 1 & 2 were gone at the same time SOHA would have flipped.

@JakeAnbinder The baseball stadium in San Diego is surrounded on two to three sides by new towers going up. That figure is going to be wildly different in less than 10 years... One of the few places in America that residential towers can be built by right.

@JakeAnbinder To be fair, half of the 3 km radial catch of Oracle Park in SF is water. The other half includes high density residential buildings with local and regional rail connections.

@numble Really sad to see here play both sides this way. Was hoping for someone a bit more pro-heavy rail, but I suppose she’s still more supportive than Hertzberg was going to be.
