Anyone who is starting to get involved in MegaETH and in the incentives program and in the new apps that are coming out, I would recommend above anything to read this substack by @cobie. This article really helped me a lot back in the day.
There's a few metas I'm looking at right now. Obviously offshore is meta, it's all over the timeline so yeah.
Now my theory is whenever something works well in crypto somebody copies it. Of course the copy it's never as good and it doesn't do as well but if you're early to the copy you can still make a decent return but yeah it won't outperform the original in my opinion.
So yeah, a little meta might be trying to be early to the next offshore for that I'm looking at Huntertails and then I'm looking at that cube thing.
I have no idea if they will even become anything like offshore or similar I have absolutely no idea but it's a small gamble and I'm willing to take the loss so no problem.
Then we have the main meta, of course, which is the mega incentives program, the mega token. I myself am a big MegaETH bull. It gives me early Ethereum DeFi summer vibes. Again, it might not work. No one can predict the future but if you take a reasonable risk that you can stomach and won't hurt you if it goes the wrong way then... you know if you're confident enough in it go for it.
For me everything I'm optimizing towards is about accumulating more mega so any profits I can make in the apps I'll just throw into mega points so I can get more mega tokens and then I'll just stake them and we'll see where that goes in the next few years.
If we get a bull market i think mega will pop off, I mean from what I'm seeing so far some of the apps I know there's a lot of gambling and ponzis and things around but it was the same on Ethereum back in the day, this type of creativity can produce real bluechips.
I think that's necessary Right? You've got to throw a lot of shit at the wall and see what sticks. Apps are just getting spammed out there. They're getting tested. Some will work, some won't work. That's fine, that's how it's supposed to work.
For me, I just tend to spray and pray. Just use everything and then sort of check in on them and see which one is getting traction and which one looks like holy shit it's going to be a success.
For me personally I'm boosting @Euphoria_fi , @hitdotone and @OffshoreOnMega. There might be a cool flywheel thing there, like once you get offshore paying you take some profits from offshore you send them over to hitone and euphoria and then you are basically trading with your profits.
So you can practice trading on these new trading products that weren't really possible before but are possible now because of the speed of MegaETH and so there might be some edge to have there as they are untested.
And at the same time you're getting points for trading on them anyway so thats a bonus for accumulating more mega.
I would recommend everyone to read this article and I would read all of cobies articles in his substack tbh they are all great.
