Doing some research for a January transfer window special, with help from Opta, and they've just given me this on Mainoo... Despite not starting any matches in the league this season. Man Utd haven’t won a PL match this season in which Mainoo hasn’t featured at all. He’s appeared off the bench in seven matches, with the club having a 63.6% win percentage compared to the 0% win percentage in the five matches in which he’s not featured. This is utterly INSANE.

Watched FC United vs Salford City the other day, Wright’s serious player. Not surprised Big PL clubs came sniffing. Tall, elegant, powerful player who’s already grown into his frame. Scored a beauty in that game too. Had 3 goals already in Salford’s pre-season. He was on radars.

Watching Barcelona tonight really made me think about what the Manchester United model should be, I’m watching young player express themselves, with lot of freedom positionally, constant forward thinking attitude, great application and discipline within their roles. I want that.

Just don’t get how you can pick Bruno Fernandes out of this bunch and have a pop at him, that goes for anyone. I don’t get what more he has to do, I honestly couldn’t care how pleasing on the eye it looks or how ‘honest’ he is on the pitch. He’s the best player we’ve had post-SAF and some of the quality he’s had to put up with in that time… and he still persists, still steps up, still never complains, still never makes excuses. I think he’s an incredible player, I absolutely adore him.
