Our Trials and Research team has seeded our first canola trial!
Located in Beverley, this trial is looking at nitrogen and sulphur rates on canola. For more information visit csbpresults.com.au/trials
Congratulations to the Agribusiness/ Ag Sci/ Ag Honours and Ag Systems MSc students who graduated last night. The Ag industry is waiting for you and I look forward to seeing your journeys.
Too busy watching to take photos 😊 @CurtinUni#agribusiness@ChaiyyaCooper@milesellery
What is a ‘field of dreams’? 🌱
CSBP trials conducted in Boyup Brook, WA, are pushing the boundaries in crop nutrition. Some growers are seeing a 57% increase for canola averages, and 45% for barley.
Watch below to see how we’re achieving this in partnership with local growers.
Crop challenge experiment @Living_Farm near York yesterday. Calibre wheat on the right hand side had an extra 14 kg of K at seeding. Guess who applied extra K? @MUniResearch Why? Col K 40 mg/kg following 3.6 t/ha canola in 2022.@SoilsWest
By improving yields per hectare we are able to spare land from conversion.
How much land has been spared thanks to yield improvements in wheat over the last 60 years?
> 1 billion hectares.
Whisper it, but the unlikeable are now somewhat ... likeable.
Some would say there's only one man to 'blame' for this upside-down world.
But right now, you've got two options. Bury it deep down inside, or ... embrace it.

How’s this for pasture management!
Our account manager Dan Glover was mowing down pastures with the team, running them through simulated grazing. 🌱
This trial is looking at phosphorus and sulfur responses in a highly productive pasture system.
Our account manager Nichola Cassidy joins the podcast to share a sample of the plant analysis experiences she has picked up across six seasons with our Trials and Sales teams.🌱

That's a wrap on seeding for 2023! 🌱 👏
Our Field Research Team finished up their seeding program at Beverley yesterday. This trial is investigating the benefits of our new product Urea Sustain, which reduces the risk of nitrogen loss.

"A deficiency can slip under the radar" | Hear from Prof Richard Bell and CSBP's James Easton from the #NPKproject on why testing soil to 30cm and checking windrows can help optimise yields and fertiliser programs as K levels decline across WA 📰➡️ bit.ly/k-loamy
Introducing Urea Sustain, a coated fertiliser that provides increased application flexibility and nutrient use efficiency, helping to reduce the emissions intensity of crop production.
Available as a limited release in 2023. Find out more csbp-fertilisers.com.au/sustain
Today is #WorldSoilDay! To celebrate, our Senior Sustainable Agriculture Advisor, Debra Turner, is attending the @SoilsWest and @SoilScienceAust World Soil Day Event.
This year's theme is ‘Soil: Where food begins’, showcasing the impact soil quality can have on our foods. 🌱
