Yes, the United States has the most progressive tax system in the world. The top 1% pay 40% of taxes, the bottom 50% pay 3% of taxes. We can make it even more progressive by zeroing out taxes on the bottom half. It’s a small amount of the total tax revenue but very meaningful to people in this group.

The IRS charged me for taking a deduction that I was due in 2007. That $7500 deduction with penalty and interest came in at $11,750 in 2011. I paid the Obama administration by check. I CHOSE NOT TO GO TO COURT. You cannot fight townhall.
