@millwrightfarmr Just had these delivered yesterday. Doing 3 rows on my 400ft barn. Just cut out for feeders and drinkers and put sleeves in. Plastic so easy to clean. Was having the same issue as you.

Built a new barn last fall and the birds are shying away from the big fans and my trigger pans. I didn’t want my feed bins at the fan end for a variety of reasons. What are producers doing to solve this problem? #ontariochicken #broilers

@millwrightfarmr This covers a 48 inch fan. I had roof metal left over so we used that and we framed it out with 2/6 pressure treated lumber

@JoshBoersen Yes, we are looking into dark outs. There is a slight loss in air flow

@millwrightfarmr I saw some very nice 'dark outs' they called them. Like another door/baffle over the fan that blocks the light, without restricting air flow.

@millwrightfarmr Need to cover them. Also, I’m anyone would ever drive pass them, they birds were scar and might cause a pile up. We built simple covers out of sheet metal and pressure treated lumber.
