Remember when we said that evidence on the positive effect of exercise on cognition is inconclusive? Well, some people weren’t too happy about that. They came to us with some critiques, so we decided to roll up our sleeves and dive deeper. Spoiler: our conclusions still stand





Can you spot spinal segmental myoclonus? This great video case by Ruiz-Ortiz and Benito-León in @tremorjournal shows it manifesting in the setting of multiple sclerosis and focal inflammation of the spinal cord. The video reveals 'involuntary, arrhythmic, jerky movements localized to upper trunk + proximal left arm. Possible mechanisms: 'axonal hyperexcitability, spontaneous neuronal discharge, disinhibition of alpha-motor neurons and disruption of spinal interneuronal circuitry.'
