soundcloud.com/mimikova/bete-… I wrote this one the other night. It is a noisy drone experiment. I used Maths as a voice with Capt’n Big O and the MicroFreak. The bells are from the 707 into Clouds. There are also some strings on the MicroFreak, layered with a messy patch I made on the D-50. Also the Digitakt II and the TD3 My voice was sampled into grains (the start point is on a smooth random S&H), then into Clouds, which makes up the rest. I also used the Bat Verb, Plateau reverb, an ancient Echoplex, and the 121 Dual VCF, The Echo, Dimension D chorus, Jun-6 Chorus, pulveriser, along with the Schlappi 100 Grit filter. Tracked live into reason( well as live as electronic music gets). Like all of my music is is raw and imperfect, But damn it, Jim. I am a doctor not a professional producer. It is not. And a Plumber is qualified to be a Senator. As it is his job to represent the will of his constituents. His constituents have the freedom to choose whoever they want. I am okay with him in his doing his job in the senate. I am not okay with him leading an organization Homeland Security. If you look at my feed you will see i listed several people who would be better. Because their experience.

@mimidancer He’s not “a plumber running Homeland Security”—he’s a sitting U.S. Senator who used to be a plumber. Big difference. If qualifications matter, let’s actually define them instead of using a trade as a shortcut for “unqualified.” Feels classist to me.

I’ve never really thought Jimmy Kimmel was funny. Something about his snarky delivery I think. Now he is insulting someone for being a plumber, which seems odd. How many plumbers does he know? How many different types of people? How about trying some diversity.
