We have so normalized verbal, emotional, and spiritual abuse in the church and especially from the pulpit that many don’t even realize it’s happening.

Beatrice Wairimu was sentenced to prison for killing her husband. She admitted to the act, stating that she did not intend to kill him. Beatrice, who was eight months pregnant at the time, explained that she acted in self-defense, as her husband was assaulting her. She stabbed him multiple times with a knife. She has since expressed regret over that moment, which resulted in the death of the father of her child. Beatrice received a lenient sentence and is now a free woman

My father was sold to a mkebe in the name of pick up. After a few weeks iliwekelewa mawe. I also bought a van in Msa, later nikaona hapa. Pre-purchase inspection is very important.

But Kwani kazi ya prepurchase huwa nini exactly? The only time your inspector should tell you not to buy a car ni kama mileage is tampered with/or ni ya accident All else inspection is to give you a report * What you do with the report is upto you the buyer

Misinformation has always been more effective at spreading than truth. In the early 1900s the PCEA church established a hospital at a place called tweni tùmu now called tùmu tùmu ,the only problem was there was a great Kikuyu medicine man who was so good that they couldn't seem to get clients, the missionaries imported clothes with scabies a disease that was foreign in the land and very soon people were lining up at the medicine mans residence, one of the medical compounding process was ash, application meant you looked like you lived in juja ,but nothing seemed to work forcing the people to seek help from the hospital. Being ashy became synonymous with coming form the medicine mans home and coming from the hospital meant clean and glistening from emulsion application. The name of the medicine man was waing'a and very soon there was a song , ndahunyùkite ngiuma kwa waing'a ,Jesu akijoya agìthabia wega kwa waing'a ndigacoka .To this day the uncultured and uninformed in Kikuyu culture and history call satan waing'a .we have to fight misinformation.

There is a very rich family from kimende who made their money in the 80s and early 90s when HIV was a death sentence ,the patriarch came up with an elaborate lie that the government had come up with special instructions on the handling and burial of aids victims .This included special caskets and team with the lowest plan going for 20k .For those that paid the 20k their caskets were wrapped in nylon papers and team wore PPEs like the ones you saw during the covid era, those that paid more were sold special caskets that they could burry their loved ones without need for PPEs . Needless to say the stigma that followed said burials was crippling to the relatives .wealth sometimes demands a level of shamelessness and inhumanity most of us are not willing to pay.

@_malik14 @moneyacademyKE There are plenty of Saccos that are legally operating but under the Ministry of trade. Because they have not attained the Sasra threshold.
