My fellow Canvassers literally had the Police called on them by staff of Peter's Drive In, Calgary yesterday, even though they were on public property and merely exercising their democratic right to garner signatures for the Petition for a Referendum on Alberta Independence. They were not harassing people, just making themselves available in in a public spot so that people that wanted to sign could do so. I wonder if they did the same with Forever Canada petitioners?
