@mindovertease systemd-boot tem nada a ver com systemd, que eles renomearam o gummiboot pra systemd-boot pq a suite de software systemd ainda não tinha um bootloader e ele passou a ser mantido pelo time do systemd também eu uso o limine, dá pra customizar a interface dele e é bem bom

@mindovertease - multiboot e multiboot2 é um boot protocol de merda - bloated pra caralho e toda hora dá problema, ainda mais com dual boot o único motivo pra usar o GRUB é se o teu pc é uma múmia e só suporta BIOS e não UEFI, mesmo assim o limine também suport BIOS

CachyOS, a “Performance-First Linux, Built on Arch”, has made a rather peculiar statement in regard to possible Age Verification in their Linux distro. The CachyOS stance appears to be that they are “not doing anything” about Age Verification… but if you disagree with Age Verification you should “find another distribution”. At the same time, anti-Age Verification posts have been officially declared “radical” and will result in censorship and banning from CachyOS. The statement: “CachyOS is not located in areas where this is a thing CachyOS is not doing anything in regards to this CachyOS uses SystemD
 If you don’t want to use SystemD find another distribution STOP asking about these two things
 STOP attacking people about these two things

@Shinobu_uwu @ImFenyxkk Oloco, vou usar o lime então quando formatar dnv, não tive muito problemas com o grub além do windows olhar ele como partição vazia e gravar o boot do windows nele e foder meu linux umas 2x mas eu consegui arrumar

@mindovertease @ImFenyxkk o tanto de falha de segurança e problema que a upstream se recusa a arrumar... não dá pra levar a sério esse projeto, literalmente tinha versão que nem compilava

@ImFenyxkk Não tem nada de convenient nele. É literalmente um pedaço de merda até mesmo pro usuário final Systemd-boot é limine são alternativas muito melhores

@HSVSphere Sure, the games should fix it - feel free to report this to these studios and tell them to fix that. Let me know when this is implemented! FYI: Zen Kernel does this too ;)

This has literally _zero_ performance wins. In fact removing bus mitigation is actively harmful because x86 bus locks make the system crawl to a halt. Catching these are done by the hardware and CachyOS removes the Linux exception handler that will handle the exception. Horrible
