Hi @alextomo & @horton_official, Don’t you think this important contradiction in the movement deserves scrutiny? Channel 4 and The Guardian continually platform @RiverActionUK and @sascampaigns as leading voices in the anti-sewage pollution movement, yet their policy positions are misaligned with what much of the public actually wants. Over the last three years, I have created two of the UK’s only parliamentary petitions calling for microplastics, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and other pollutants to be mandated into law as filtered from all wastewater. petition.parliament.uk/archived/petit… & petition.parliament.uk/petitions/7347… That is a simple, clean ask. Yet both of your platforms refuse to amplify it, while repeatedly platforming NGOs whose positions do not demand that legal requirement. Why are you so afraid to amplify the clean, direct asks?

Investigators need your help finding the driver who allegedly left a dog to die. Murfreesboro, Tennessee - Detectives with the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office say a dog was reportedly dragged more than 600 yards Tuesday night near Burleson Lane and Justice Drive. Witnesses found the injured dog in a ditch and rushed him for medical treatment, but Rutherford County Pet Adoption and Welfare Services says the pup sadly died from his injuries. Investigators believe the truck may be a white Ford pickup, possibly an F-250, with white spotlights near both side mirrors, lights near the hood, a light bar on top of the cab, and a missing tailgate. @peta Yes, some sheep have been drastically genetically manipulated and that cannot be undone. It’s sad and it was cruel. Just like the chickens that were genetically manipulated to have breasts so large that they could not stand. It’s too late though.
