“One day the absurdity of the almost universal human belief in the slavery of other animals will be palpable. We shall then have discovered our souls...“ MLKjr

We have huge news. After 18 months, the first step towards justice is finally here. Following Animal Justice Project’s undercover investigation into Innovis Ltd’s pig breeding facility in Norfolk, criminal proceedings are now underway against Innovis Ltd, CEO Dewi Jones, Farm Manager Nigel Walpole, and worker Steven Woolger. The defendants face eight charges under the Animal Welfare Act 2006 relating to alleged abuse uncovered during our investigation. Our investigators documented nearly 800 hours of footage across 2023 and 2024, including footage of “the boars enduring relentless mistreatment, including being kicked and beaten”, as reported by The Independent in December 2024. The case will first appear before Great Yarmouth & North Norfolk Magistrates’ Court this afternoon. Ayrton Cooper, Campaigns Director for Animal Justice Project, said: “It has taken 18 months to get to this point and I am grateful to Trading Standards for handling it so professionally. What our investigators documented during this investigation was incredibly difficult for our team to witness, and it will stay with us for years to come.” Animals who are exploited behind closed doors deserve justice. We will continue fighting to expose the truth and hold this violent industry to account. #JusticeForPigs #AnimalRights

Investigators need your help finding the driver who allegedly left a dog to die. Murfreesboro, Tennessee - Detectives with the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office say a dog was reportedly dragged more than 600 yards Tuesday night near Burleson Lane and Justice Drive. Witnesses found the injured dog in a ditch and rushed him for medical treatment, but Rutherford County Pet Adoption and Welfare Services says the pup sadly died from his injuries. Investigators believe the truck may be a white Ford pickup, possibly an F-250, with white spotlights near both side mirrors, lights near the hood, a light bar on top of the cab, and a missing tailgate. If you know who was driving that truck, contact Detective Andrew Quintal at 615-904-3054 or email aquintal@rcsotn.org. Anonymous tips can also go to Crime Stoppers at 615-893-STOP. #dog #animal #animalwelfare #TheRealPaulMueller DISCLAIMERS: Fair Use. Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
