Everyone who learns a trade, is betting on themselves to win the labor lottery, and their odds of winning increase daily. The boomers are dying out, and not enough of us learned how to replace them. Myself included. I don’t know a trade. In 2040, if you see a mansion on acres of land, it won’t be an oil tycoon, it’ll be a plumber that timed it right.
