@minto7070 @DaleJohnsonBBC Cause i feel Milwall and Hill should argue Boro still lost their tie. I think there needs to be convincing evidence Saints coach's had specific knowledge of boro tactics. Either way I think Soton should be punished just kicking them out of playoffs creates more issues.

@DaleJohnsonBBC Kicking Southampton out of playoffs would be terrible decision unless you have Milwall and Middlesbrough play a one off game to get to final. Giving Boro a free pass. Points deduction makes most sense and anyone involved banned from football for an extended period.

I’ve liked Southampton a lot this year, but as the commentator has said, there’s a theme of unsporting behaviour. This play-off period really hasn’t been a good look. From Spygate to the ball boys behaviour.

If this below is true and this level of spying went on, including recording from WiFi equipment and then being sent to others back in Southampton of the training. I myself - as a neutral with no affiliation to either Southampton or Middlesbrough - would kick Southampton out of the play offs and award the tie to Middlesbrough. @Project_Boro Surely it would be behind closed doors for home fans only. Why would Boro fans/club be punished for their rivals cheating?

For me, I’d play the 2nd leg behind closed doors. No rescheduling or expulsion, cos the legal battle would be enormous. Would suck for our travelling fans, but it takes their fans away from the 2nd leg, and they lose all the potential matchday revenue. 🤷
