This Chinese humanoid robot just shattered the world record for a half marathon, finishing in 50 min 26 sec.
This video shows its crash just meters before the finish line where it had to be picked up by a team of humans. The robot is from Honor, the smartphone maker and Huawei spin-off. This robot was teleoperated while others were autonomous. It seems like all the robots had battery swaps along the way.

@lilduval Taking notes of you guys who believe that Waymo is more advanced than Tesla. I can’t wait to see what you’re saying in 3 months. Oh yeah… every Tesla on the road was built to be autonomous ready. Retrofitting cars with Rosco-P-Cotrain lights (Lidar) on top ain’t cutting it.

@lilduval That’s bc yours M3 has the old hardware/hardware 3 chip. Anything that was purchased before late March/April 2023 has the older hardware. Tesla hasn’t been working on the FSD stack got those as much, bc they’re focused on Ai4/hardware 4 copped products first.

• Better mapping or understanding of maps for better predictions.
• The ability to click on the screen to make changes of map routing.
• The choice to back into your driveway and in the exact location driveway or garage.

@lilduval FSD still doesn't work.Those cars are useless without a wheel and pedals.
Even the ones that supposedly work, it's only on 3 streets in Austin, TX, requires Lidar mapped geofence.
You can't license a personal vehicle in the US without a wheel and pedals.
Useless without controls.

@lilduval There's no way they are able to be even insured right now. They're not even legal to have on the road without having a steering wheel or pedal. Tesla would have to take care of every single accident that happens because it was run by their software. There's so many questions.

Duval, Elon claimed that all Tesla vehicles built since 2016 would become autonomous taxis every year since 2018. We are now in 2026 and it never happened.
These will be used in Tesla's limited geo-fenced pilot programs, not by consumers.

Weirdest FSD 14.2.2 experience (same in 14.2.2.1)

FSD stopped working. I double scroll reboot, turned off the truck, called customer service, put in a service request. Truck isn’t tracking/showing structures or street lanes. No traffic safety features are working. My cameras are working intermittently @aelluswamy @Tesla
