This kept me pondering the whole Saturday afternoon. :) In the end, I felt that an information science approach would be a wicked problem to model. What are the actual information transported by an utterance or a gesture? Can I codify them separately?Etc.

Highly recommended primer for conversation analysis. Especially worthwhile for conversational designers, who want to gain a deeper understanding of the phenomena that rule talk-in-interaction. #emca #cui #vui
