On the 10th of November, we met with the Aero Club and the Airport at the Wellington City Council. We discuss the noise issue and suggested some ways to improve the situation. Next meeting early in the New Year to discuss how we can implement them!

Wastewater has flowed into Wellington's harbour after a pipe became blocked near Queens Wharf. Wellington Water is still quantifying how much wastewater has been discharged, but pump station operators have removed the blockage and the overflow has stopped. nzherald.co.nz/nz/wastewater-…

For those of you eagerly awaiting election results, here's an update from #BirdoftheYear. After 5 days of voting & almost 25k votes, here's the current top 10. The toroa is No 1, but that cld change quick with plenty of votes to come in & vote transfers under STV.
