Reception classroom 2024 🌈 After a year of Mat Leave I feel like I could almost be back in the swing of teaching (almost)! Despite being exhausted after the first week back, I’m so excited for what the year will bring! Let’s do this 💪🏻⭐️

Trying my best to start 2025 off right by posting more ✨ Here is our small world set up for the story of Hansel and Gretel 🧡🍭 Perfect for our topic this term of Tradition Tales - this adaptation by Bethan Woollvin brings a twist to the classic story that the children love! 🍬

An absolute privilege to lead leadership training with @TowngateHead for our next generation of leaders - Laughter, trust and collaboration all day- Wonderful group and a fabulous collection of ‘must reads’

Managed to squeeze in a little classroom refresh into this madness of a half-term holiday! 🫠 A week can’t have gone by so fast surely?! 👀

Teacher training on hold for another year for this little bundle of joy to join us 🩵

The Sweet Shop is open 🍬🍭 To start off the Spring term the maths area has turned into a sweet shop! Through play children consolidated and applied what they had learnt about weight, money, subitising and numeral recognition in an engaging and imaginative way ✨#eyfsmaths

On Thursday 15th December we will be hosting an open evening, 4 - 5:30pm, for potential new parents and carers to look around our wonderful school. Staff will be there to answer any questions. We look forward to seeing lots of new faces!

Introducing… peg doll football ⚽️ based on the favourite teams of the children in my class @LFC and @LUFC ❤️💙 They used strategising skills to plan player positions and moves alongside subitising to keep track of score! The talk that came from this too was just brilliant ✨
