To worsen it the message across schools have been a big NO for mixed approaches, and when you look at schemes they start from Phase 2 (reception) including a big ask to start phonics sessions from week 2 onwards (Aut1). It can be so tricky to have those conversations

It’s all about adapting to the ‘new me’ as one of my nurses puts it and learn to work within my limitations. Kiln on tomorrow- finish boxing too (hopefully)

A ,comparatively, busy day today. I managed to glaze some pots I’d had ready for a while - I’ll switch the kiln on in the morning. Quite a few mouse/book mugs too. I’m in the stage in my chemotherapy treatment where the fatigue has lifted a bit- I haven’t got too much strength.
