Hello. Young kids back in school are so sick right now. Everyone with a preschooler has an entire household of sleepless viral cough snot fevers for the past two months without a fucking break. So if you know a parent going through this, be kind and gently hit them with your car.

@hughcavill @RugbyReg @kinson88 @dstanno But without the superb link and support play of Jock that whole play comes to nothing. It was superb fullback work and brought the best out of his fellow backs. Yet that counts for nothing? And he was played sick, then dropped for a flat game 🤷

@AlanaThomas7 I'm glad that Wayne recognised the different needs and motivators for his players. I really wish there weren't such absolutes though - I know a few male players who could've taken on the world with coaches who understood the need to belong as a driver of performance.

I have been saying this for years
Male players need to perform to feel they belong.
Female players need to feel they belong to perform.
However when Wayne Smith says it, it adds weight to it.

@Nelsonhdale Campbell didn't have the best game last week, after we played him when he was crook, so we've dropped him.
Meanwhile Skelton played the house down but has a minor calf issue so we'll play him on the bench so there's no injury cover for him.
The whole thing is getting ludicrous.

@rugbycology Get the mute/block button out mate. I'm all for a hot take and bit of hyperbole during a game as it's a bit of fun like being at the game live and just reacting. Carrying on post match ad nauseum is just dull though. I just gloss over a lot of the crap now.

Is it just me or is rugby on Twitter no longer fun? Far too toxic. And that was before the Boks lost. I am a bit over it to be honest and would love a platform where we discuss and analyse and debate games again, not focus on ref and choosing ideological sides.
