Nested models let you train a whole family of submodels at once. What if you could use them all at once, too? Block triangular weights enable this structure. It gives us token-adaptive routing, self-speculative decoding, and more. Introducing: Fully Nested Transformers (1/9)

Excited to share we have 4 papers accepted to ICML 2026, including one spotlight. Proud of the students and collaborators, and looking forward to sharing more about these directions! More on each coming soon---check out our work:

We found that agents generate progressively worse code with each iteration. Real developers do not. SlopCodeBench is the only eval that faithfully measures quality degradation on iterative, long-horizon coding tasks. arxiv.org/abs/2603.24755 scbench.ai 🧵

🚨New pre-print! Activation steering is highly parameter-efficient, but picking where to steer usually feels like trial-and-error. We established a first-order relationship between activation steering and fine-tuning, turning that "vibe check" into a principled framework.

Sonnet 4.6 Results on SlopCodeBench are in! Overall, higher tokens / second...but it also takes an absurdly long time while generating a ton. So cost benefit kinda there. Interesting how the strategies of both Spark/Sonnet 4.6 are converging on faster but more thinking.

Often, a bug I have had to fix has been tied directly to overly verbose or defensive code from an AI agent that has eroded my project as the specs changed. Why isn't there an eval for this? There is now. Very excited to announce SlopCodeBench scbench.ai

⭐ New blog post! Most people think activation steering ≈ a cheap version of finetuning. But why does it sometimes work, and sometimes fall flat? We dug into this and found a surprisingly clear answer. Full breakdown here 👇 sprocketlab.github.io/posts/2025/11/…
