@bendreyfuss In shipping, it means the goods are being moved via various modes of transportation. Like a shipping container that can travel by sea, rail, or over the road and be transitioned between the various modes along the journey.

There is a train station here called the Milwaukee intermodal station and I do not know what the word intermodal means and I have no interest in learning what it means but this is America and we call train stations train station and don’t use rich man words like intermodal

On the 18th day of Pride, I would like to honour Kathleen Stock, the lesbian philosopher and writer. I greatly admire her courage in voicing her opinions despite the attempts to silence her. She is a woman who's inspired me to speak up for my beliefs and opinions.
