@OMM_0910 @bendreyfuss (It's nice there will be somebody to just post the correct factual info and not need to joke around more!)

@bendreyfuss In shipping, it means the goods are being moved via various modes of transportation. Like a shipping container that can travel by sea, rail, or over the road and be transitioned between the various modes along the journey.
English

@bendreyfuss It's the ineluctable modality of the visible. [Space]
Or the ineluctable modality of the audible. [Time]
But intermodal is not in the game

On the 18th day of Pride, I would like to honour Kathleen Stock, the lesbian philosopher and writer. I greatly admire her courage in voicing her opinions despite the attempts to silence her. She is a woman who's inspired me to speak up for my beliefs and opinions.

On the 17th day of Pride, I would like to honour George Michael. This mention is personal. I first saw Wham! on Top of the Pops performing Young Guns! My older brother said: I bet he's gay! Being very young, I knew I was "different" but it was the first time I had a word for it.

And I have a cat named Gemma. (Who has on occasion heard some boygenius)

@LuisRAgostini @SPOTNEWSonIG Then what about the non-military victims of war? Which is their day?
English

@montefisto13 Well I don't *need* to know. But, yes, it makes me a little curious. (Also wonder if Ben D has a take on this, I've been reading his newsletter) @bendreyfuss

@SpencrGreenberg seem to capture a modern valorization of energy over caution ("The tygers of wrath are wiser than the horses of instruction" ). Others mysterious but thought-provoking ("The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom."). 2/2

Which do you think is wiser — the original cliche or the unknown anti-cliche?
• Great minds think differently.
• The second mouse gets the cheese.
• Some clouds bring only rain.
• Ethics matter even in love and war.
• Make it better even if it isn't broken.
• Your grass will seem greener than theirs because it's yours.
• Even practice doesn't make perfection.
• Fortune favors the prepared.
• Curiosity is the mother of invention.
• Even an old dog can learn new tricks.
• The best things in life take hard work.
• Estimate how many chickens you'll have before they hatch.

@RonRosenbaum1 I'm double checking -- have you and @jrosenbaum2002 stopped denying you are cousins? Or that you at least once, maybe jokingly, suggested that you are -- like in a stray preface or the like?

@books4cause Also wanted to ask, can't find a page / form on your website to make simple monetary donations. Do you accept support in the form of $$?
English

@books4cause Hi, Books4Cause! Could you please let me know (in advance of filling out your donation form) whether for a qualified pickup you bring everything you need? Especially the cartons? What does the client/donor have to provide besides the books?
