Interesting indeed. All the “bad” countries are very similar, but there is big variation in the “good” countries. And NZ has been more affected than Australia throughout!

I find this pop’n-adjusted COVID-19 daily cases graph interesting. AU & NZ are chasing down cases effectively. Recent difference between Hong Kong & Singapore is a warning of how quickly case numbers can escape if there is a ‘blind spot’ - even in a country with great healthcare.

My 5th form work experience was on the Taieri Gorge train and that turned into my first part time job - a dream at the time as I was studying Japanese and German and loved practising in all the tourists. This is a sad, but understandable decision. I hope it’s not forever. 😢

It is disturbing that forestry and construction know what is going to be possible in #level3 but not healthcare providers. The backlog of cases for an already-stretched health system will be nigh insurmountable - population morbidity and mortality will suffer for years to come.
