Here was the debate last night: non tournament tested club golfer with low single digit GHIN starts the masters at -100. Does he win? My answer is a strong no chance.

If I’m 3 under going into 18 and I score a triple, I’m posting an even score on all 18. Back to the point, anyone 3 to 0 would destroy the field by 40-50 if they started -100

@therealmcnair @flatstick96 @mitchmarkin @therealmcnair - Also, in a true tournament is there is no max score. If you make an 8 on an easy par 4, it counts as a 6 in the handicap. Two of those a round equates to 16 additional strokes over 4 days. Maybe even more - could see a 6 on #12 at least one day.

@mitchmarkin Yeah no, zero chance IMHO. Your scoring average would need to be like 77. The guys you are playing with are +6 to +10 index. Some of their scoring averages aren’t 77
