CUPE has issued a 5-day strike notice meaning a strike could begin as early as Monday, November 21 should an agreement not be reached. We are currently finalizing information and will share updates with families as soon as possible.

@yerrhellerr One of my friends knows one of the djs and apparently Markham fairgounds was not paid for day 1 or 2. Too bad if it’s true because it seems like they let them go on with day 1 in good faith and they shit on it

@mixxcrisp apparently, all artists were paid according to the organizer & id assume thats why they actually flew out to CA? idk what went down after but maybe the venue wasnt paid

i just really wanna know what went wrong for kultureland??? cuz most of the artists showed up in toronto... even confirmed thru their socials theyre attending.. so like, what was the problem?

I haven’t even got to the part where THEY HAD ALL OUR EMAILS and did not contact us for a venue/time change. Just hoped we’d check IG? #Kultureland

@Mutsa101 But no proper wristbands at all for day 1. Plus nothing differentiating GA/VIP like you said. This whole thing is shameful.

@mixxcrisp They had black ones that were all GA. VIP was no longer a thing.
