@mzimmaro All great stuff, Mark. Coach Powell has built a program that respects the game, always plays hard, and is fundamentally sound. The culture at Cherokee is second to none. Every senior class leaves a legacy for the next to follow!

Cherokee closes its season with a 28-3 record - the second most wins in school history. It was Cherokee’s 6th straight 25-win season (excluding Covid-shortened 2021 season). Cherokee won its 5th sectional title (4th under Ron Powell) and third straight.

Wanted to give a shout-out to Cherokee Lady Chiefs on a tremendous season. Coach Powell and his staff once again did a outstanding job. The girls played for each other and it was fun to watch. @LadyChiefsBskt
