Over 780 victims suffered severe pellet injuries to their eyes, leading to partial or permanent blindness. Government figures reported at least 17 deaths directly caused by pellet gun injuries.

Adil Khan, a government ration distributor abused PM Modi and openly declared he will not give rations to Hindus in Bareilly. He even claimed the Modi government is “mostly finished” because of the CJP protest. Police have arrested him and now he is begging for forgiveness while the Food Supply Officer has seized his shop.
