@PaulRRobichaud I once saw a TV hypnotist persuade his volunteers that the number 8 does not exist. And then asking them questions apparently designed to force them to mention 8 in some way, and they didn't. Such is the power of suggestion.

@garrytan If you want to feel old, read a tweet that assumes you had email when you were in college and high school. 😂

IDK what happened, but I don’t want to talk to LLMs anymore. For example, I have some sore muscles after skating, and my first thought is to ask ChatGPT, but it just feels meh and ick now, so I don’t do it

I've created a complete, pure-OCaml YAML library called YAMLx (because "Yumyulack" was too long). It will be suitable for reading config files in your applications as well as for analyzing YAML files used by other projects. #ocaml #yaml

Can an LLM really be in your circle of trust? I feel like, fundamentally, it should not be. Is any tool allowed to be in a circle of trust equivalent to a human being?
2BitSalute@2BitSalute

@erratlinezero @tekbog Pretty different from models. And on the positive side for the humans, once the context is built and they enter your circle of trust, you don’t have to check and redo every little thing they produce and can actually delegate to them.

I don't understand why people are getting crazy over this. Anyway, I just did a bulk unfollow and freed a lot of space. Let me know if I unfollowed you by mistake.

Is there anything worse than a crying baby on a plane? I wish parents would control their children. It’s so disruptive. I refuse to believe a baby cries for 10 hours. At some point this is just bad parenting, right?
