Hi Mark, that is page 24 of the Hillsborough Independent panel report and what you have shared there is extracts from evidence heard at the first inquests that were held in 1989. Nice try though!! It is widely known that the first inquests were factually incorrect, that the coroner was involved in tbe cover up and that is why families like mine had to fight w5 year for fresh inquest. In the 1989 inquests ALL of the deceased were given the same death verdict and the same time of death, but many families had evidence to prove that was incorrect. The coroner that you have quoted there in that screenshot would not allow families to put forward their evidence and treated them appallingly. Trying to reignite those false allegations and smears achieves nothing but causes survivors and families distress. Maybe, going forward, it would be best for you to research a topic in its entirety before tweeting like you have. It was unnecessary and incredibly unkind.

@mjhoops45_mark you have clearly watched families like ours fight against those who were responsible the deaths of our loved ones at Hillsborough. You have seen that it took DECADES to get a truthful inquest verdict. Be honest with me now Mark - do you truly believe that if Liverpool fans werent in some way responsible for the deaths of our loved 1s we wouldnt have gone after them too? We have sat through years and years of investigations. an inquiry, a scrutiny of that inquiry, 2 inquests, multiple police investigations and countless reports, not mention the hours or CCTV footage and news video coverage. NOT. ONE. SECOND shows wrong doings by fans at Hillsborough. It DOES show fans helping, carrying the dying and trying to assist with the injured. So, the next time you think you're being all edgy on the internet, just you remember that Bereaved Hillsborough Family members, like me and Survivors, like my friends, are accustomed to your type of libellous "entertainment" now and every single one of us can prove who were to blame. Shame on you!!!!

@RBrooks67 @charlhennessy1 Without going over old ground, there was one small part in the inquest that caught my eye. But, this by no means, justifies my original comment (point 101). The whole situation seems to have been, to use a phrase- the perfect storm.

@charlhennessy1 @mjhoops45_mark It’d be nice if Mr Hooper would respond in kind to yourself too. Maybe he has read the results of the inquests, or maybe he’s worried of potential repercussions for his tweet, either way, the ‘real truth’ has been widely known for a long time.

There were some latecomers mainly because of major roadworks. Many fans had to get off coaches early and walk miles so bad was the traffic!!

There were no barriers where tickets were checked and there were very few police outside. Duckenfield was arrogant and clueless. Gate was opened to relieve pressure!
