Joseph Campbell said, “You must have a room, or a certain hour or so a day, where you don’t know what was in the newspapers that morning … a place where you can simply experience and bring forth what you are and might be,” and I’m not kidding when I say this could change lives.

So my unpopular (?) opinion is that listening to an audio book is not the same as reading, so any attempts to plug the reading gap through listening to books is unlikely to work. Experiencing a wide range of stories is important, but the medium is the message here.
Tes magazine@tes

A broader range of reading formats in schools - including audiobooks and podcasts – could help to reverse the decline in children reading for pleasure, @Literacy_Trust says tes.com/magazine/news/…

“With AI you never have to draw, paint or write again!” Why does that prospect excite you? We were put on this earth to think and create. Some people are so eager to be liberated from joy.

@MenAtWork_MC I would add How is this not an equal relationship? Making a much more specific question related to equality towards the end of a discussion can have even greater, long lasting effects.

In the wake of Elon Musk's sideways salute to Trump, people are 'explaining' that Nazis didn't do sideways salutes. Really?
